| Dave Food is a deep rich Bass Baritone who has been singing for many years. Recently studying with Wynford Evans, Dave is looking for invitations to sing items from oratorio to opera, classic to contemporary. Dave studied singing at UEA, there he won the Kenny Award for Music and was a Choral Scholar at Norwich Cathedral. A further period of study followed at the University of Warwick, where Dave sang in a number of Operas and staged performances. A further year at the University of Bath where Dave studied with Nigel Perrin (formerly of the Kings Singers), winning the Linley award for Music. Dave has performed a wide range of solo repertoire, The Messiah, The Creation, Mozart Mass, Stainer's Crucifixion and a number of contemporary pieces; in a variety of venues such as, Albert Hall, Wigmore Hall, Snape Maltings at Aldeburgh, Guildford, Coventry, Bristol, Norwich Cathedrals and St Georges Chapel Windsor. Also including a number of engagements abroad USA, Mexico, Germany and Canada. Dave has had the privilege to perform in a number of master classes; at Dartington, in Leider classes and English Song.
